A Parents Guide to Urban Air Trampoline Park
If you’ve taken your children to Open Bounce at Urban Air of Downingtown, you know that urge you get to jump in and play dodgeball with them, or flip into the foam pit, or tackle the warrior course? Well, go for it, adults! We deserve the fun too!
Last week, Urban Air Trampoline Park in Downingtown hosted the Downingtown MOMS Club for their monthly Moms Night Out! Urban Air has a reputation for a fantastic exercise class Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. So as a thank you to their local customers, they opened their doors for a private fitness class to the MOMS club. We had a FANTASTIC time!
I work out several times a week, however, this trampoline workout apparently hits muscles that I never get to… I felt “the love” for several days. It was terrific. And all the while, all that was heard was laughter. The instructor was encouraging and positive, yet really pushed us to get a great workout in. Push ups on trampolines are WAY tougher than one would think! And the sit ups were almost easier with the give of the net, so I didn’t realize how hard I was working my abs. The 45 minutes straight of exercise was not all jumping, it was a full body class! We were jumping and twirling, and goofing off, yet still getting an amazing workout it. Totally doing this again! And I’ll be using the new app next time! The Urban Air app allows you to earn rewards, get exclusive offers, and the best part is take advantage of the Paparazzi Plus, which is TapSnap ready.
The app has two levels: FREE for the base app and then $10 a year for the VIP level. With the VIP level, the user gets more reward points per dollar and more aggressive specials. Both apps allow users to participate in TapSnap. Urban Air will have cameras that record your children (or you!) doing stunts, or just jumping, plus one for battle beam competitions and one for basketball dunks. The cameras offer unique angles, such as overhead footage of dunks and battles; footage you can not get from using your own cell phone. Be sure to download the Urban Air app today! It’s available on the App Store and Google Play.
As seen on the app, Urban Air has other special events aside from Open Jump and the adult Fitness class. Urban Air of Downingtown also offers Jumperoo for the little ones, which is great because when my 2.5 year old is bouncing away, he’s oblivious to everyone else around him! So it’s nice to know there aren’t 12 year old children nearby that can crash into him, or visa versa. UA also hosts a Special Needs Jump for those with special needs and their families. This is twice a month. You can learn more about all of these special events and their hours here.
One of the best things about Urban Air of Downingtown, their convenient birthday party packages. We’re getting our next birthday party (in August) on their calendar NOW because their weekends are filled with celebrations! And why not? It’s so stress-free and affordable and the children have a blast, no matter their age! And by children, I mean the adult kind too… because I had a blast at the 3 year old friends party we went to last month! If you’d like to win a FREE birthday party, free tickets, etc, follow them on Facebook, where they are continuously posting giveaways!
Disclaimer: In exchange for this honest review, Urban Air of Downingtown gave the Downingtown MOMS Club a discounted rate and a private class. All opinions are my own. Super proud to partner with UA’s owner!
