About us

Chester County Moms began in the summer of 2008 as a local blog by Sarah Freymoyer, a longtime Chester County resident and mom of two. It grew into the Philly Burb Moms network, with sister sites for Delaware and Montgomery counties, and for more than a decade it shared local events, family outings, recipes, crafts, giveaways and parenting tips with moms across the Philadelphia suburbs.

Sarah wrote most of the posts, together with contributors including Megan, Melissa, Stephanie, Shannon, Jennifer and others. Each post shows the name it was first published under.

Since 2026 the site is under new ownership. The new owners brought Chester County Moms back online with all of its posts, at the same addresses they always had. Sarah has given permission for her posts to be published here. Each one keeps its original date and author and is credited “Originally published by Sarah Freymoyer and the Philly Burb Moms team.”
