Intrducing the new “Buddy Bench” at Beaver Creek Elementary, Downingtown.

The PTO Board at Beaver Creek Elementary School, Downingtown, is pleased to announce the newly donated Beaver Creek Buddy Bench!

“What Is The Buddy Bench?

The buddy bench is a simple idea to eliminate loneliness and foster friendship on the playground. Let’s spread the message of inclusion and kindness!”

The hopes for the Beaver Creek Buddy Bench is that no child is left out or lonely during recess. If a child is sad, lonely, feeling left out they should go and sit on the buddy bench, with the understanding that the “Beaver Buddies” will engage and invite that child to play and that the grassroots movement will spread like wildfire in our school. With the aid of the “Beaver Buddies” and Mrs Miller, the Guidance Councilor, all Beaver Creek kids will have a great playground experience!
