Exton’s NEW California Tortilla: Savings, Fundraisers, AMAZING Service, and more!

Have you been to the new California Tortilla on Main Street in Exton?  We always visited the one in Lancaster when out that way, so when I knew it was opening close to home I was, hmmm, elated!  The nachos.  The cheese sauce.  The fresh guacamole.  Everything, RIGHT NEAR HOME!  YAY!!!!!  So, a few friends and I went in to check it out, thanks to an invitation from California Tortilla.  We were given the royal treatment, and no one even know we were there to review!  We were all genuinely impressed by their customer service.

For those who have not been yet (first, check yourself, because that is nutso), second: California Tortilla serves fresh, made-to-order, delicious, award-winning burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads all grounded in a foundation of Mexican cuisine yet combined with imaginative flavor combinations and customization opportunities that you won’t find anywhere else. Korean BBQ tacos, Bacon Chicken Club Burrito and our California Sunset Bowl are just a few of the Chef-Inspired menu items featuring our made-from-scratch sauces. Oh, and the ‘fresh’ part isn’t just a marketing point, it’s a promise. From delivered-daily avocados that are hand-smashed to fresh-chopped salsa made every morning, freezers are a foreign concept at Cal Tort.

Finally, our food review…. I had the No-Meato Burrito and it was amazing with the perfect hint of spice.  Two days later, and I am craving it again!  My one friend got the Southwest salad without cheese due to her dietary restrictions (of which they were super accommodating to) and since she cleaned her dish, I’m going to say it was awesome.  My other friend had a tough time deciding what to get.  The gentleman working there went way out of his way to discuss the different proteins, time of seasonings, and so on.  She finally decided on the fish and Korean BBQ taco, one of each, and was not at all disappointed!  It was very much of a “create your own” sort of situation and he really helped her build the tacos to her liking.  The children had cheese quesadillas and a cheeseburger taco.  All kids cleaned their plates and thoroughly enjoyed the cookie that came with their very affordable kids meal!
