As you read in my last 3 posts, I had the luxury of testing out Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, and Plated. All 3 delivered recipes with pre-portioned ingredients. All 3 were cooked by me, for my family, in my kitchen. So the reviews were conducted fair and square! Below, find my summary of which one may be best for YOU. My comparisons are based on the “family” box being delivered with 2 meals per week.

Food Quality Eggs arrived cracked, but everything else was very fresh and nicely boxed in a very organized fashion, dates would have been helpful to know when all of the vegetables and herbs were good until Everything arrived fresh, protein could have been frozen if needed, dates would have been helpful to know when all of the vegetables and herbs were good until Everything arrived fresh, dates would have been helpful to know when all of the vegetables and herbs were good until
Kid Vote Ages 7.5 down to 2, ate at least part of all 3 meals we made! But these were their favorite. Ages 7.5 down to 2, ate at least part of both meals we made! Ages 7.5 down to 2, ate at least part of both meals we made!
Parent Vote We really enjoyed these meals but they were simple, not too “restauranty”. These were delicious and the Seared Chicken recipe was beyond anything we would have tried, or eaten. These were delicious and much more funky than our normal meals would be. We felt these were more our speed in terms of taste bud happiness goes.
