**DISCOUNT!** thredUP: Reduce, Reuse, Redo your wardrobe!
I love to shop online. I have no time, or patience, to lug children to brick and mortar stores while I shop for clothes for myself or for them. So, several months ago I turned to Stitch Fix (affiliate link) to just send me clothes. After a few fixes, I found brands of clothes that I knew held up well and looked great. But they were way outside of my budget. My sister then introduced me to thredUP, the largest online consignment and thrift store with name brand, quality clothes! I stocked my closet with brands like J. Crew, Banana Republic, Papermoon, Kut from the Kloth, Me Too, Le Lis, TOMS, and Olivia and Oak for a fraction of the original cost! And the best part, I can get it all shipped to me for FREE, try it on, and if it doesn’t fit right, I can ship it back for FREE! Amazed yet? You should be! Keep reading….
I recently went on a little thredUP shopping spree to get some items for myself and my cherubs. I find so many children’s clothes with tags on them still! And again, if you spend $75, shipping is FREE! Each item is posted with a brief description, including the condition the item is in. Take a gander at some of my finds for me!
Me Too flats that are OH-SO-COMFY!
Cynthia Rowley cardigan, BR dress, Papermoon top, and JCrew sleeveless top for ME!!!! YAY!
Ready for another reason I love thredUP? Brace yourself, YOU CAN EARN MONEY! And, feel good about it too, because you’re also helping others as well as keeping Mother Earth clean. Simply order your Clean Out bag, fill it up with items you no longer wear, mail it in, and earn money! If there are items that thredUP doesn’t need, you can choose to have them send it back to you or to recycle it safely. What a great way to unload clothes that the children outgrow (at a rapid pace it feels like) or that you no longer find yourself wearing! This includes shoes, bags, and accessories as well, ladies!
My children get super “hype” when they see the polka dot box has arrived because they know I’ve probably found them something super stylish, comfortable, and cute to add to their wardrobe. My son, he rarely gets excited… he’s a 2 year old boy, it’s to be expected, but this shipment there was some joy on his face! My 2 oldest girls were pumped to model for our readers. So, here’s their runway show of some of the items they got…..
Cherokee Sandals. For $5.99, it was worth getting these now and storing them for spring. They look untouched!
Total Girl Cardigan, so soft and such a pretty pink!
GAP hoodie!
Under Armour Active Top. The girls love the back details.
In talking about thredUP, because I feel like I do all too often, I learned of a great idea! My friend had a wedding to go to and needed a simple cocktail dress. But between work and the kids’ schedules, she couldn’t shop long enough to find an age-appropriate, affordable, classy dress. Then she realized she had credit in her thredUP account from a previous return. So, she ordered a few dresses, when they arrived she tried them on, chose her winner, and sent the others back! Free shipping, free returns, and money in her account still for future orders! BRILLIANT! And though she was too bashful for me to post her picture here, trust me, the Kate Spade dress she wore was STUNNING!
My son got excited about his new “hero” shirt by GAP, Paw Patrol (tag on!) shirt, and I am in love with this Gymboree plaid shirt!
