Linvilla Orchards- SUCH a fun day!
Spring Break, sun is out, slight breeze in the air, and so what better way to spend the day than with my quad squad and mother at Linvilla Orchards in Media!?!?
We arrived at 10:00am, when the morning chill was still in the air, so went into the market to check things out, including the newly hatched chicks and the two calves outside the market. We then went to play miniature golf at their new indoor course, Fore!
My girls just kept saying, “We never get to play golf except at the beach, this is so great!” And being animal and nature lovers, they really got into the course and all that we learned. Each hole had a different theme that included a sign with pictures and information. Just some of the many things we learned are that bats are NOT blind or rodents, birds help to spread seeds, what alien species are and some great recycling facts.
Fore! is open January until April. Get there before April 3rd to play a fun game! The course is made SO well. Colorful, engaging, well built, educational, and fun!
After playing golf for about 45 minutes we headed to Bunnyland! There was a line for the hayride. This was the perfect time for the kids to run and get wiggles out while also having a snack. The line took about 20 minutes and then it was our turn!
The hayride was a great length, taking us across the street to the orchard and then we found ourselves at the Easter Bunny’s house! It is so well decorated, and springy, just a very cheery and classy scene! The bunny circles the hayride taking photos behind your children (you can be in it too, of course). While one of the employees tells
Easter jokes, sings songs, and entertains the riders. Also, at this time, another employee passed around a treat bag to everyone, even offering one to the adults! There was no rush, it was relaxing and fun. And then on the way back to the main area, the tractor driver stopped and taught us a lot about the fruit trees we were seeing.
We can’t wait to return to pick the plums, peaches, and apples! Deliciously fresh! Plus to do all of the other fun seasonal events that Linvilla has mastered! In addition to these family fun events they have a fantastic free playground, a farm market, garden center, swim clubs, pick-your-own, and fishing! It never gets old. Seriously, I love that place!
Disclaimer: In exchange for my honest review, Linvilla gave my family complimentary tickets to play Fore! and to visit Bunnyland. All opinions are my own.
