Introducing H. Rose Kiddos!

My friend introduced me to H. Rose Kiddos, a new clothing line designed by Rachel Becker, of Delaware County. Rachel’s designs have been featured on Good Morning America, E! News, and several local news stations plus Redbook’s September Issue, WWD, Philadelphia Magazine, and Main Line Today. After having her daughter, H.Rose, Rachel realized it was time to slow down and switch directions to spend as much time as possible with her. In May 2015, H.Rose Kiddos was born! Rachel’s partner in the business is her Mom, Mariann. I loved the story of how their business started and was really excited when Rachel sent my youngest daughter a beautiful H.Rose Kiddos Harper Houndstooth Dress to model.

This Harper Houndstooth Dress arrived beautifully packaged with a handwritten note from the designer herself. Such a nice touch! As soon as I took the dress out of the packaging, my oldest daughter (age 10) gasped and immediately asked if came in her size too. Sadly, for her, H. Rose Kiddos sizes range from 6 months – 6 big kid. My 3 year old was excited to put on the dress right away and have her modeling debut as the family fashionista. I wish I videoed her putting the dress on for the first time. She was “petting it” because it was so silky. She twirled and twirled. So much so that it took a few minutes to snap a photo. She was a twirling blur for the first dozen or so tries. She LOVES..LOVES.. her “fancy dress” as she calls it (insert big blue toddler eyes lighting up).

One of the things that I love the most about this dress, is that the straps in the back can be pulled down for the perfect fit, which allows the dress to “grow” with my daughter. I can’t tell you how many dresses my little one has fallen in love with and only had a chance to wear a few times because she grows overnight.. really, she does! She completely bypassed 2T. Went straight from 18 months to 3T. It was crazy! I feel very confident that this dress will fit her so that she can wear it over and over this holiday season and possibly for Easter too. If we can pull that off, the price of this dress, $42 and the quality of the fabric..well, it’s just a great deal!!!

The other feature that sets this dress apart from other “fancy dresses” is that it is MACHINE WASHABLE!!!!!! I have your attention now, right??? Yes, machine washable, tumble dry on low. When I saw that on the tag, I was the one twirling with excitement.
