My father has a brace he wears permanently due to a back injury that killed nerves in his right foot. He’s gone from a wheel chair to this brace, we have so much to be thankful for! My parents have a beach house because they love the ocean, it’s their happy place. Sadly, he hasn’t been able to stand in the ocean independently since his accident occurred about 15 years ago. He always needs two of us holding his hands since the brace isn’t water proof and he has no stability on solid land, let alone a moving ocean and soft sand.
This past week, on vacation, my father stood in the ocean for the first time ON HIS OWN. I could cry just typing this! It was amazing, exciting, emotional, and just fantastic. Thanks to DRYPro, he had independence once again. I am so grateful for this product!
We ordered him the full leg to ensure it fully covered the brace. It slips on like a silicone sock would, quite easily. The bottom part of the protector has a black skid-proof texture. Then using the included hand pump he pumped a few times
to suck out all of the air in the sleeve. You know it’s finished when you can’t pump anymore, easy enough for any age to figure out!
And that is it! Take it off, rinse it off, and use it again and again. It’s amazing. Really a genius product that will help SO many people!
