Open House at Darlington Arts Center on Tuesday, March 18th

Darlington Arts Center is hosting a kid-friendly Preschool Open House on Tuesday, March 18 from 9:45 am – 11:00 am. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and participate in “An Adventure through the Arts.” Throughout the morning, children will participate in 3 different activities with Darlington’s teaching artists (music, art, dance, or drama), and families will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet Preschool instructors, and learn about the curriculum. Spaces in the 2014-2015 Academic Year are open, and registrations will be accepted at the event. By attending Preschool Open House, families will receive a $10 coupon. Please RSVP to Katie@darlingtonarts.org.

Darlington’s preschool program uniquely exposes young learners to music, art, dance, and drama. Emphasizing creativity, imagination, exploration, and active participation, the program helps students develop critical comprehension and memory skills. Students benefit from multi-week units of core curriculum developed by a certified teacher, traditional preschool activities including circle time and outdoor play, high-quality arts-based learning activities with professional Teaching Artists, and learning responsibility and cooperation by working with peers.
