Look no further!  Creative Vibe Studio has so much to offer, right in Downingtown.  They are located on Lancaster Avenue in a small strip of stores with plenty of parking.  The studio is large, clean, and intimate.  Parents can sit in chairs just a few steps off the dance floor and watch, or entertain siblings while relaxing in the waiting area.  The owners, Jill and Maryam, have done a fantastic job revamping the dance studio to have it meet the needs of all ages and class preferences.  And even if they don’t currently offer the time and class you are seeking, they always offer a “create your own” class!  Simply find 5 other friends and they will work with you to start up a class that works perfectly into your hectic schedule.  How awesome is that?

My daughters went to the Creative Dance class with Miss Jill.  I love that both owners are such active participants in their business and are genuinely interested in a relationship with their students and families.  The Creative Dance class taught the girls to follow directions, show patience, learn dance vocabulary, have good posture, learn new ballet positions, be silly, have fun, free dance, communicate.  Well, my list could really go on so I’ll just stop there.  My 4.5 year old said to me “Mom, can we stay here all day?”  It was the best thing a Mom can hear when signing a child up for a class!  What I love most, is that Creative Vibe is a relaxed dance class looking to foster the love and skills, not the hype.  They do recitals in studio for family to see, nothing expensive and over the top where children need to be enrolled September until May.  Classes run 6 weeks at a time.

The adult classes are Zumba, Yoga, and Pilates.  You can sign up for 10 passes for $100 that is good for 90 days, or pay $12 for drop-in.  I have taken the Pilates class.  It’s relaxing, strengthening, toning, and tough!  ****SPOUSES***** here’s a great idea for a stocking stuffer for the lady in your life!  Ladies, you’re welcome.  :)    Last year, for Christmas, my daughters favorite present was a printout of the dance studios website and then a wrapped leotard, tutu, and ballet slippers.  It’s how I told her she was going to take 6 weeks of ballet classes.  It was adorable, practical, and not candy!
