Truthfully Speaking...with Toddlers!!

I feel like I should rename this peace... Truthfully Speaking with Wise Toddlers! Apparently I've been a little on edge lately because JT is constantly telling me to 'stay calm Mom.' JW has taken to hair pulling, and he's no weakling and wow does it HURT! This is something JT knows well, as he reaches for her red hair constantly (it IS beautiful lol!) .

Well I'm the latest target and his grip has been solid lately. It literally took me a full minute to remove my hair (that which was still connected to my scalp anyway) from his grasp. By the time I was able to do so I was in tears (it seriously hurt!). JT came over to me and rubbed my shoulder and told me to 'stay calm mom, it's okay.' Then about 5 minutes later the two of them were going at it, to which I went into my bedroom for a 'mommy timeout.' When I emerged JT said, "Are you a happy and calm mommy now?" I of course snickered and answered yes and she then said, "You're such a good mommy."

Not only does she make me laugh everyday, but she also melts my heart too. I love my babies!
