Homemade Baby Wipes

Homemade Baby Wipes
A great way to save money and keep your baby’s bottom from becoming irritated is to make homemade baby wipes. I know what some of you are thinking. Forget that, I don’t have time for that. I promise you, these wipes are quick and easy to make. They literally take 30 seconds to a minute to make. I’ve gotten pretty quick at making them since I’ve done it every week for the past 2 years! I hope you’ll at least try them!
Here’s how I do it:
First, cut a paper towel roll in half (when you’re finished it will look like two toilet paper rolls).
Next, the toilet paper looking roll into a bowl or container with a lid.
In a separate bowl ( I use my 2-cup Pyrex measuring cup), mix 2 cups of water, 2 Tbsp. of Johnson’s baby soap, and 2 Tbsp. of olive oil.
Pour over the paper towels in the bowl. Voila! You have homemade baby wipes!
These usually last me 5-10 days for a full paper towel roll. My son has very sensitive skin. When I do use regular store-bought wipes exclusively, I notice his bottom gets very red and irritated. I still use the store-bought for when I am not at home but using these when I am at home has helped his skin a lot. The store-bought wipes tend to contain alcohol which can dry your skin out.
