Beach Chatter - Celebrate Father's Day
If a visit to the Delaware Beaches is in your plans for this summer then don't miss the Beach Chatter, a weekly post that will make sure you are prepared for your trip with weather updates, calendar events, and other useful tips to make your trip to the beach, a successful one.
WOW! The weather has been absolutely awesome this past week at the beach with low humidity, a slight breeze, and not a cloud in the sky. I was even able to turn off the AC!!
Unfortunately, today the clouds have made an arrival, but that is always the perfect time to play some board games with the family, take a shopping trip to Tanger Outlets where you never pay sales tax, enjoy a game of mini golf, or catch a movie.
On the bright side, if you are visiting the beaches this weekend you are in for some gorgeous weather!
Could that forecast be any more perfect for a visit to the beach?

Don't forget to pack your dad in the car when you come to visit this weekend.
There's plenty of fun things for your dad to enjoy at the beach on his special day.
For the Fisherman:
Charter and headboats leave daily starting at 5 a.m. and return early in the afternoon after a day of seeking mako sharks, wahoo and billfish, among many other types of fish. Headboats operate on a first-come, first-served basis while smaller charter fishing boats take reservations well in advance. Check out the complete list of Delaware & Maryland charter and headboats to make your reservations for dad {or hubby} today!
For the Golfer:
The beaches have many beautiful golf courses for your dad {or hubby} to play on to celebrate his day. Many courses are open to the public, but do require reservations for tee times.
For the Adventurer:
Is your special guy always looking for the next adventure? Perhaps he would enjoy parasailing over the ocean or maybe jumping waves on a jetski.
For the Sports Guy:
Maybe dad {or hubby} would prefer to just sit back and watch his favorite sport while enjoying his favorite drink. Nicola Pizza just opened a relaxing and comfortable sports bar on the second floor of their new location right on the Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. Definitely a winner for the sports guy on his special day.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
Check out Surviving the Sandcastles calendar for updated events happening during your visit!
