Sarah: Founder & Owner, Philly Burb Moms
Sarah is a long time resident of Chester County, mom of 2 and self proclaimed “blog-a-holic”.
After a long career in sales & finance management, Sarah “retired” from the business world to stay at home with her children. She started blogging in 2007 as a way to stay connected to family and friends spread out throughout the U.S.
Merging her new life of “Mommyhood” with her sales expertise, Sarah launched Chester County Moms in the summer of 2008.
The site expanded to 2 other sites, Delaware County Moms and Montgomery County Moms. These 3 sister sites comprise the Philly Burb Mom blogs: a hyperlocal resource for women living in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.
On the Philly Burb Mom blogs, local moms can find information on local events, activities, products, and fun places to go with their kiddos. They showcase recipes, crafts, parenting tips and more.
Sarah is a social Media Consultant, member of Philly Social Media Moms, and has been a Brand Ambassador for The View, Backyard Discovery, and Aquafina. Sarah has recently participated in campaigns with Glidden Paint, Disney Paint, Birds Eye Vegetables, Chevrolet and was invited to Disney Social Media Moms Conference in 2013.
When not blogging, Sarah enjoys crafting, traveling, shopping, decorating, all things Disney and spending time with her husband, children, and their dog “Big Doggie”. Sarah does not enjoy laundry, gardening, cleaning, blue jays or stinkbugs.
