April Gardening To Do List:
Dig & divide perennials
Transplant any trees, shrubs, and perennials
Prune & fertilize roses
Prune flowering trees that have already bloomed; forsythia, redbuds, cherry, pear, magnolia and viburnums
Plant pansies & snapdragons, any annuals that can withstand a late frost
Garden furniture can be cleaned and placed back outside
Plant: lettuce, onions, beets, peas, beans, cabbage, leeks and herbs
Clean out Birdfeeders, replace damaged ones
Make sure there is propane in the gas grill…Summer BBQ’s, can’t wait!
