My oldest son, Cbear, just turned 2 this summer. Until recently, he was pretty content chasing a ball or climbing just about anything. Over the past few weeks I have really begun to see his imagination start to come out through play. It is so amazing to me how he now interacts with his toys and so fun too!
I set up the playmobil Large Farm after Cbear went to sleep, and it was ready for his discovery the next morning. I loved how he ran up to the farm, shouted out a very loud, “OOOOO” and immediately started moving the pieces around. I would say his favorite part is opening and closing the windows, but he also is very fond of making the cat (or any of the animals) walk up and down the ladder. He has not quite grasped the ‘buggy’ part of the horse and buggy. Cbear also thinks the sack of potatoes is actually milk, but he lets his imagination run wild and feeds the ‘milk’ to all the animals and people on the farm so I go with it!
As a Mom, I loved how easy the set up was (no set up at all, unless you consider opening the box set up!!!) and that the sides of the farm fold up so I can easily pick up the toys to either put away or transport to another room.
From Ghost Pirates to Construction zones to Nautical Expeditions, Playmobil has a number of fun toys that I just cannot wait for Cbear and his little brother to experience.
The playmobil Large Farm set retails for $54.99 and is available now at the playmobil website and other stores.
