We all love when May rolls around, and our favorite farmers market’s start up again for the summer. Fresh vegetables, hand-picked fruit, homemade pastries, flowers and the like.
I. Love. It.
The wait is not long now; May is only 2 weeks away. And for those of you who are unaware, the West Chester Grower’s Market has been hosting Winter Markets on the 3rd Saturday of each month during the “off-season.” Apart from getting snowed out in December, the WCGM vendors have faithfully set up tables and sold their wares for the past 5 months. We have lucked out in having unexpected great weather for many of them!
This Saturday, April 17, will be the LAST Winter Market of the off-season! What better way to spend an April morning, celebrating the ushering in the coming Market Season? To entice you more, as if you needed any encouragement, here is the list of vendors who will be present on Saturday from 10am-12pm:
Big Sky Bread Company – fresh bread and pastries! Place a pre-order so you can be sure to get what you want!
Chile Spot – will have an assortment of chile pepper jams, sauces, salsa and dried chile peppers as well as a preview listing of all the chile peppers seedlings we’re growing to bring to market in May.
