Here is an example of how much you can save at a consignment sale. Last spring, I got these clothes on the last day of a sale, when everything left was marked down to $1.
Original retail value: $125+
Original consignment sale selling prices for all 8: $38.50
Price I paid: $8 (Savings of 94% off retail and 79% off sale prices)
All items are in great condition- a couple look like they were never worn.
Bottom line? New home for gently used clothes. Lily Bean can look fabulous all the time, with no worries that her outfit gets ruined. It was only $1. 🙂
